Whit sun, or Pentecost, is a religious celebration and marked by many churches with a procession around their Parish.

Denshaw is no exception and a march takes place on Whit Friday morning. Normally leaving the church gates at 10am.

Led by the church banner the march normally includes a Brass Band

Denshaw School Pupils

As well as anyone else able and willing to participate.
